Blast from the Past

**Due to Dell and their stupid computers that don't work, this is a very late post.

The Hu Family arrived Friday night, (Feb. 13) ready for an awesome weekend of non-stop fun -- I mean, what else would you expect from the Cardons??!?! We are PAR-TAY animals. The weekend went something like this --

The cute doughnut shop on the corner made heart shaped doughnuts for Joalea's 30th birthday (which also happens to be Valentine's Day).

After making ourselves sick on those, we headed out to the Farmer's Market - a Saturday morning tradition now. I think the picture says it all. A blast was had by all (let's just say we have a lot of kids)....

The Dad's wanted to spend some quality time alone with the kids, so to accommodate them, Joalea and I offered to spend the day at the Camarillo Outlets. After spending several hours there (we were no where near done) we met our husbands (who had gotten babysitters for the kids) at some yummy place for dinner...I never caught the name of it. It was so good and fresh. I think about going back everyday!

Sunday morning we were off to church. How do you like my cute teal doors??After some napping, we headed down to the beach for a picnic (Haylie wanted to know why we weren't keeping the Sabbath day "more" holy).
It was absolutely freezing and windy, so Hu and I stayed close to the coals to stay warm.

A cow boy came riding by while we were walking, so all the kids got a turn on the horse.

Tyson won for being the cutest little cowboy.

Thanks for a fantastic weekend, Huhtalas! We hope we didn't keep you up too late each night! Good-bye for now...

Tag

My cousin Kristina tagged me. Here are the rules:

1. go to your my document/my pictures
2. go to your sixth file
3. go to your sixth picture
4. blog about it
5. tag six people

I love this picture of my baby Katie and Trevor. This was summer 2006 when we went camping in Burney Falls. I didn't realize that the kids were so little. We had a great camping adventure that year. My brother Blake was living with us at the time, so he came with us. We learned a lot on our first real camping trip, the most important being that a five man tent refers to 5 little tiny men and no luggage.

I tag Joalea, Anona, Joy, Elizabeth, Kandis and Whitney.
