I'm Lovin' It

That's right, peeps. If you happen to make your way to a McDonalds in South Texas, you will see our smiling faces on your tray liner. Not to mention that our picture is also in an airport brochure for the University of Texas at Brownsville. It pays to have connections :) I'm just surprised that no one has contacted us for a tray liner signing day....

Mom-cation

Trevor sent me on a well-deserved (if I do say so myself) Mom-cation. Ahhh, I had no idea that flying could be so easy! I left on a Wednesday afternoon and arrived that evening at the good old John Wayne Airport. And boy was I hungry! I had compiled a long list of all the places I wanted to eat at while I was there...and we wasted no time. We drove straight to In-and-Out....




Thursday morning we just hung around. I worked on some homework and worked up an appetite. Then, at lunch time, off to Daphne's we went.

After that we took ourselves to a movie and did some shopping. Then, wouldn't ya know it, I was hungry again! To make a long story short, we did a lot of eating and a lot of Scrabble playing. It was about the most fun I've ever had! Sunday came too quickly, but I was happy to head home to my babies and Trevor, who all survived swimmingly. I'm thinking I'll take off more (except for the fact that I would end up gaining 100's of pounds!).

We really tried hard to take a decent picture of ourselves. The problems is that when your Mom is the tiniest thing on planet earth, and you are prego, it never turns out very flattering. Anyway, this is the best we could do.
