Farmer's Market and Gardens of the World

We had a great Saturday. And then it all went downhill... Haylie woke up with a headache, but after a little Tylenol she was fine. So, we decided to head to Camarillo's Farmers Market that is held every Saturday morning downtown. Yummy! Fruits, veggies and some really good Kettle Corn.

Afterwards, we headed about 10 minutes north to Thousand Oaks to visit the Gardens of the World. It was very pretty....

Since we were already out, we took the liberty of taking ourselves to eat at Claim Jumper. While we were there Hayile started getting really cold...never a good sign! And then on the way home, she fell asleep.
To make a long story short, she ended up with a 104.7 degree fever (no seizure this time, lucky us) and a really nasty flu. One by one, we have all fallen. My sweet Mom came up for a couple of days to tend to us. We are slowly seeing some improvement. Haylie's been fever free for 12 hours now - after 4 days! Katie wins the award for the sickest person this hour. Aurda seems to be on the mend. Trevor is just in the beginning stages. And me...I've never been so sick in my life (although at this moment I feel like I might live).

JANUARY 17 -- A beautiful beach day!

We ditched packing for a few hours to go to the "Pirate Ship Park" (who knows what it is really called) and the beach. Thank you, Camarillo, for greeting us with such wonderful weather!

Packing and the Move

The move went swimmingly. We have the BEST friends in the whole world. So many people - including all of our youth - turned out on Wednesday evening to help us clean, pack up the truck, eat a yummydinner provided by Auntie, and say good-bye. We are blessed!

Notice the tape??

Good-bye to my PL Sisters -- minus Auntie
